Captured the flavour of what remained of the Capital's East End as the author notes his observations, laced with many charming anecdotes and reminiscences, and delightfully illustrated with line drawings from his own hand. Generally good clean copy with sunning to spine. Dustjacket is somewhat tatty with areas of loss and internal repairing. Small stain mark to cover.
