Light brown cloth with black lettering and red decoration. 139pp inc index. Binding is square and tight. Foxing spots to page edges but text block clean. Lengthy and interesting gift inscription on front end paper dedicated to "H.B. Carrington Editor of the Herts Advertiser from Charles W. Hopper" makes reference to a piece on page 44 to which Hopper has added some comments - the inscription praises Carrington for fighting for the truth and alone fighting the London press. Part of the Twentieth Century Library series.
