Maroon soft leather covers. Scalloped fore-edge (see photo) All edges gilt. Internally clean and bright. Undated but rather nice gift insription on front fly leaf is dated 1902. Described as a reading copy as spine end is worn and spine strip splitting (hinge internally is not affected) where it is attached to front board at bottom edge. 664pp. A very attractive copy.
